Parks and Trails Rules and Regulations - Overview

Please help ensure a positive experience for all park visitors and wildlife by observing park regulations.  If you observe a dangerous violation in progress, please call 911.

 

 


Hours are 7:00 a.m. to dusk unless otherwise posted.
Parking and driving are allowed in designated areas only.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in any city park or facility, with the exception of functions held at community buildings accompanied by a Washington State Liquor Control Board banquet permit.
Controlled substances are prohibited in any city park or facility.
Animals must be kept on a leash and in designated areas.  Animals are not allowed inside the baseball complex.  Animal waste must be properly disposed of.
Use of sound amplification systems must be approved in advance by the Parks Department.
Littering or depositing of household or commercial refuse is not allowed.
Solicitation or the promotion of goods or services is not allowed without prior approval by the Parks Department.
Damage, injury or removal of facilities, plants, or wildlife is not allowed.
Fireworks, including "safe and sane" devices, are prohibited.
