Lacey is divided into three areas for the police department patrol assignments:
     
    Patrol Area A (Adam)

        The western boundary is the Chehalis Western Trail
        The eastern boundary is roughly Long Lake
        The southern boundary is the Burlington Northern Railroad tracks
        The northern boundary is 21st Ave/22nd Ave.

    Patrol Area B (Boy)

        The western boundary is the Chehalis Western Trail
        The eastern boundary is roughly Carpenter Road SE
        The southern boundary is 21st Ave/22nd Ave
        The northern boundary is Martin Way

   Patrol Area C (Charlie)

        The western boundary is the Sleater Kinney Rd NE to 15th Ave NE,
                  to Draham Rd NE, to Britton Pkway NE, to Marvin Rd NE
        The eastern boundary is roughly Meridian Rd NE
        The southern boundary is Martin Way
        The northern boundary is roughly 54th Ave NE
