Message from the Chief
The Lacey Police Department prides itself in excellent
customer service and a crime rate below the state average. This is due in
part to the professionalism and tenacious pursuit of criminals by the
officers and also by the willingness of citizens to get involved and report
criminal activity. In any successful community, the police and citizens
work together to ensure safety. This partnership has proven successful many
times in the past and continues to be an important piece of the safety and
security that we all enjoy. The department attends many community functions
and education opportunities, and also offers many programs including
volunteer programs to get community members involved. If you would like to
find out more, please call to find out how you can help continue making
Lacey a safe and desirable place to live, work, learn, and play.
