Request for Statements of Qualifications for Comprehensive Records Study/Taxonomy Development Services
The City of Lacey, Washington, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified consulting firms interested in providing records assessment and taxonomy development services under Phase I of the city’s comprehensive information governance initiative.
Consultant activities encompassed by Phase I are anticipated to include designing organization-wide inventory standards to facilitate analysis of diverse records systems; developing appropriate metadata and taxonomy structures; recommending proven stakeholder-driven content categorization procedures; providing impartial evaluation of predictive coding / automatic classification technology options; developing procedures to unify diverse record systems, platforms, and silos with retention schedules; providing impartial evaluation of document imaging workflow processes; and providing impartial evaluation of potential Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for implementation during Phase II of the project.
This is a qualifications-based selection process that considers experience and references; it is not a formal request for bids nor a request for a project proposal.
Final scope of services and fees will be negotiated upon award of contract.
Statements of qualifications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.
