Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Lacey at City Hall, 420 College Street SE, Lacey, WA 98503 until 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014, for the following work:
OPERATION OF RAINIER VISTA CONCESSION STAND
The City of Lacey Parks and Recreation Department is seeking bid proposals for a qualified concessionaire to operate a food and beverage concession at Rainier Vista Community Park.
For bid proposal information or specific site inspections contact Sue Falash, 420 College St., Lacey, Washington 98503. Interested parties should assume that all equipment needed to operate a concession will be the concessionaire’s responsibility.
The City reserves the right to reject any, all, or part of bids received and to waive all informalities.
The City of Lacey Parks and Recreation Department seeks an experienced operator to provide concession stand services at Rainier Vista Community Park. The concession stand must be operated in a professional manner providing moderately priced fresh food and beverages. Rainier Vista Community Park is located at 5475 45th Ave SE Lacey WA 98503
Rainier Vista Community Park is a 46 acre site. Rainier Vista Community Park is a high activity site with 3 rugby/soccer fields, 3 baseball/softball fields, 4 tennis courts, 3 sand volleyball courts, basketball court, walkways and picnic shelters along with a skate park for beginner and intermediate skaters.
The concession stand is attached to the restroom building facing the baseball/softball fields. The park opens up for athletic events on March 1 and runs through the end of October. Soccer fields are used on week nights as well as both Saturdays and Sundays. Softball/baseball games/practices are week nights and mainly Saturdays with some Sundays primarily March thru June. We host soccer as well as softball tournaments throughout the season. The concession stand is expected to be operational seven (7) days per week, while the ball fields are in use.
