CITY OF LACEY - TEMPORARY PROCEDURES FOR REGULAR COUNCIL MEETINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT to comply with the Governor’s Proclamation 20-28, City Council meetings will be conducted remotely, not in-person. The public may watch the meetings live on the City's website, Facebook, YouTube, or Thurston Community Media, Channel 3. The public may also listen to the meetings via telephone using the number provided with each Council meeting agenda. This will be provided on the Friday before the Council meeting.
The Lacey City Council approved Resolution 1087 to provide temporary procedures in response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic:
- Regular Council meetings will be held remotely on the second and fourth Thursdays, and will begin at 4:00 p.m.
- Public Recognitions and Presentations
- Council meeting agendas will be modified to suspend the following items:
- Boards, Commissions, and Committee Reports
- Public Comment
Public comments may be submitted by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The commenting period will close at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the Council meeting. Comments will be provided to the City Council electronically prior to the meeting. Comments will also be included as part of the meeting record.
