|HOGUM BAY ROAD AND WILLAMETTE DRIVE REDUCED TO ONE LANE  |

LACEY, WA, July 28, 2017: Tuesday, August 1, contractors will begin grinding the roadway and building road sections on Hogum Bay Road. During this time, traffic on Hogum Bay Road will be reduced to one lane and motorists may experience up to 20-minute delays. In addition, Willamette Drive, near the intersection of Hogum Bay Road, will be reduced to one lane in each direction for the remainder of the project. Drivers should expect major traffic impacts in this area for the next two weeks and alternate routes are recommended. An optional detour will be set-up down Marvin Road.

LACEY, WA, July 25: The City of Lacey invites the community to a free, historic walking tour of the oldest neighborhood in Lacey at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2017. The tour begins and ends at the Lacey Museum, 829 Lacey Street SE. Participants can visit the Lacey Museum following the walking tour.

LACEY, WA, July 14, 2017: Monday, July 17, installation of storm drain pipe down the center lane of Hogum Bay Road (north of Willamette) will begin. Motorists can expect traffic to be reduced to one lane with up to 15 minute delays, at times. Alternate routes are recommended. Flaggers will be in the area directing traffic. This work is part of the Hogum Bay Road Improvements Project.

LACEY, WA, July 6, 2017: Hogum Bay Road NE will be closed where it intersects 31st Avenue NE from Monday, July 10 – Friday, July 14, for sewer work as part of the Hogum Bay Road Improvements Project. The road will remain closed 24-hours a day. Detour information will be posted and flaggers will be in the area to direct traffic.
