LACEY, WA, May 31, 2016: Waterline construction activity is scheduled to be underway this week along College Street SE in the vicinity of 26th Avenue SE, near the Brentwood neighborhood. The construction work will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., beginning Thursday, June 2, with anticipated completion by Friday, June 10.

LACEY, WA, May 25, 2016: Lacey water customers will follow an alternate day watering schedule for their yards and outdoor landscapes beginning Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Alternate day watering is mandatory for all Lacey water customers during the months of June, July, August, and September.

LACEY, WA, May 20, 2016: The City Manager’s office announces that Lori Flemm has retired from the City of Lacey after serving nearly seven years as the Director of Parks and Recreation. The City will hold a community reception honoring Lori’s tenure on Thursday, June 2 at 5:30 pm in the City Council Chambers at the Lacey City Hall, 420 College St. SE.

LACEY, WA, May 17, 2016: The City of Lacey will once again be hosting a number of public “Council on the Road” worksessions at various locations around the city to provide an opportunity for the community to meet and engage with City Council members. The next event will be Thursday, May 19, at the Virgil Clarkson Lacey Senior Center, 6757 Pacific Avenue SE, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The topic of discussion will be Lacey’s proposed Transportation Benefit District (TBD).

LACEY, WA, May 9, 2016: Roadway paving is scheduled to be underway this week in the Brentwood neighborhood, north of Wonderwood Park between Ruddell Road and College Street SE. The weather-dependent project is planned for Wednesday, May 11 through Friday, May 13.
