LACEY, WA, May 30, 2014: Local residents and businesses will have an opportunity to learn about and comment on two regional Joint Base Lewis-McChord studies—one related to Interstate 5 traffic congestion in the vicinity of the base, and the other addressing land use and compatibility challenges on and around the base—later this June.

LACEY, WA, May 21, 2014: Lacey water customers will follow an alternate day watering schedule for their yards and outdoor landscapes beginning Sunday, June 1, 2014. Alternate day watering is mandatory for all Lacey water customers during the months of June, July, August, and September.

LACEY, WA, May 20, 2014: The City of Lacey will be holding a public forum and workshop on proposed changes to the city’s sign regulations on Thursday, May 29 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Lacey City Hall, 420 College Street SE. The purpose of the forum is for the public to hear preliminary concepts and recommended changes to the signage regulations as well as provide feedback on the proposals.

LACEY, WA, May 16, 2014: Celebrate National Trails Day on Saturday, June 7, 2014, by joining other trail supporters at Woodland Creek Community Park, 6729 Pacific Avenue SE, to spread wood chips on trails in the park, pull weeds and invasive plants, and conduct basic trail maintenance. The City of Lacey Parks & Recreation Department is hosting the trail maintenance work party.

LACEY, WA, May 12, 2014: This year marks the 27th anniversary of the Lacey Spring Fun Fair, taking place at Saint Martin's University on Saturday, May 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Road closures are planned to accommodate the Grand Parade, taking place at 6:00 p.m. on that Saturday.
