HOGUM BAY ROAD CONSTRUCTION MAY CAUSE TRAFFIC DELAYS
LACEY, WA, July 14, 2017: Monday, July 17, installation of storm drain pipe down the center lane of Hogum Bay Road (north of Willamette) will begin. Motorists can expect traffic to be reduced to one lane with up to 15 minute delays, at times. Alternate routes are recommended. Flaggers will be in the area directing traffic. This work is part of the Hogum Bay Road Improvements Project.
In addition, road widening and reconstruction will begin this month. During construction, gravel roadways and lane shifts will occur at times. Heavy trucks are encouraged to use alternate routes, when possible, for the rest of the project.
