More than 32,000 Veterans live in Thurston County, many in need of local access to vital services. The City of Lacey and many local service providers established the Lacey Veterans Services Hub in response to this need. The Hub offers Veterans one-stop, local assistance with counseling, housing, education, VA benefits and more. “The Veterans Services Hub and its outstanding service providers are truly filling a tremendous need in our community,” Lacey Mayor Andy Ryder said, adding “They’ve assisted more than 900 Veterans since the expanded space opened in October 2016.” The Mayor’s Gala supports these important Veterans services.
