HAZARDOUS TREE REMOVAL SCHEDULED ALONG PACIFIC AVENUE
LACEY, WA, September 8, 2016: The City of Lacey will perform tree work the week of September 12 along Pacific Avenue near Saint Martin’s University. Crews will remove five hazardous trees and trim remaining trees to remove deadwood. Traffic impacts will be minimal.
Washington Forestry Consultants, Inc., an independent arborist, recently evaluated fifteen trees in the area right-of-way. Based on the safety assessment, five large maples will be removed and the remaining trees cleaned of dead and dying branches. The evaluation can be found on the city’s website.
