RETIREMENT RECEPTION FOR LACEY CITY MANAGER GREG CUOIO
LACEY, WA, June 23, 2011: On Friday, June 24, a retirement reception will be held for Lacey City Manager Greg Cuoio in recognition of his 24 years of public service to the Lacey community. The reception is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Lacey Community Center, 6729 Pacific Avenue.
Greg was appointed by the Lacey City Council as City Manager on June 11, 1987. Prior to coming to Lacey, Greg worked for the cities of Kennewick, Washington and Scottsdale, Arizona. He retires with 38 years of service in local government, and multiple years of service and leadership in a variety of professional and civic organizations. He is a member of the International City/County Management Association, the Washington City Management Association, the Lacey Chamber of Commerce, the Lacey Rotary Club, the Thurston Roundtable, the Lacey-Minsk Sister City Association, the Association of Washington Cities, and the Law Enforcement and Firefighters Plan 2 Pension Board.
