NATIONAL TRAILS DAY / LACEY WOODLAND TRAIL WALK
LACEY, WA, May 26, 2011:
Celebrate National Trails Day on Saturday, June 4, 201l, with a guided walk on the Lacey Woodland Trail. Your family can reap the benefits of exercise and learn to identify plants along the trail. Choose your distance. Guided walks begin from several points along the trail and culminate at Woodland Creek Community Park, where walkers will receive a National Trails Day button and a bag full of goodies (while supplies last). After the walk, a shuttle will transport participants back to any of the three starting points.
Choose a starting point for your guided walk:
3-mile walk from Chambers Lake, 3725 14th Avenue SE, Lacey, (includes portions of Chehalis Western Trail), leaves at 8:30 a.m.
2-mile walk from Lacey City Hall, 420 College Street SE, Lacey, leaves at 9:00 a.m.
1-mile walk from Homann Park, 1301 Carpenter Road SE, Lacey, leaves at 9:30 a.m.
