Lacey Family Fish-in

Ages: 5 - 14
Fee: $5 per youth participant (includes a rod and reel)

This day of fun is designed to encourage fishing as a family activity.  Great for grandkids, too!  Open to beginner and experienced anglers ages 5 to 14, volunteers will be on hand with tips for catching the big ones.  Each participant will receive a rod and reel to keep!

Pre-registration is required at Lacey Parks and Recreation, and is limited to the first 600 children.

Presented by Capital City Bass Club, Go Play Outside Washington (GoPAW), Lacey Parks and Recreation, Lacey Sunrise Lions Club, Puget Sound Anglers, South Sound Fly Fishers, Trout Unlimited, and Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Long's Pond is located in Woodland Creek Community Park.  The pond is regulated by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for year-round fishing by youth ages 14 and younger.
