The City of Lacey 2010 Stormwater Design Manual (SDM) provides technical guidance on measures to control the quantity and quality of stormwater runoff at development projects and construction sites. These measures are necessary to achieve compliance with state water quality standards, to prevent flooding, and to help protect surface water and groundwater resources.|
The SDM is used for identifying, selecting, and designing Best Management Practices (BMPs) for controlling stormwater flows, and for preparing drainage plans, reports and related documents for submittal to the City. The criteria and requirements of the SDM are applicable to all types of public and private land development projects within the city—including residential, commercial, industrial and road projects.
