WIN! YOUTH PROGRAM

Program Standards


The Work Involvement Now! (WIN!) Program was initiated in 1994 by the Lacey City Council. The Council sponsored this program to encourage youth to participate in projects that foster community pride by enhancing Lacey area parks, trails, neighborhoods, and business districts.

 

The Lacey City Council firmly believes that youth participation in community improvement projects is beneficial to the WIN! participants involved as well as to all Lacey residents. To accomplish this goal, the Lacey City Council established a grant program to pay youth groups or associations up to $300 per service project.

 

Please read the WIN! Program Brochure carefully! Organizations or associations wishing to apply for funds must meet specific criteria for project completion dates, number of youth participants per group, and service performance. WIN! Program success depends on the level of commitment of each participating group.
