Concealed Pistol License (CPL)



The Lacey Police Department can issue a Concealed Pistol License (CPL) to Lacey residents who meet the requirements through the Washington State Department of Licensing. Applications are processed during limited business hours,  Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

 

 To Apply

  1. Verify Lacey resident status by calling the Lacey Police Department at (360) 459-4333.

    Note: The Lacey Police Department can only issue Concealed Pistol Licenses to Lacey residents. Visit the Washington State Department of Licensing website for more information.

  2. Bring completed Concealed Pistol License Application   form and valid photo identification to Lacey City Hall, 420 College Street SE, Lacey, WA, 98503 map
    Processing hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding holidays.

  3. Render payment. Fee schedule below.

  4. Review permit for accuracy.

  5. Fingerprinting taken for background check (service available at the Lacey Police Department).

  6. Permits are mailed within 30 days.

    Note: If you are applying for a renewal or replacement license, the process is the same with the exception of being fingerprinted.
