Park History
The land for Brooks Neighborhood Park was acquired by the city in 1974 for $1,500, and is named after the original property owner. Soon after, the community invested $4,000 for park improvements, including shade trees, an automatic irrigation system, fencing, a gravel parking area, and picnic tables.
