a) Senior Center construction schedule & fundraising
Lori said the bid for the Senior Center project was awarded on 4/12 and came in over the original estimate. Lacey City Council approved a one time use of unused funds from the 2011 budget, to cover the Senior Center base bid and 2 alternate bids. Senior Services of South Sound is waiting to hear the status of a potential major donation.
b) Draft Agreement for Disc Golf Course
The draft agreement was reviewed by the Commissioners and City Attorney and is now being reviewed by the South Puget Sound Disc Golf Association. Shawn wondered how the off leash dogs at Woodland Creek would affect the disc golf course and Lori thought there would be fewer dogs off leash once the disc course is installed. Leashed dogs are welcome in the park
