ABOUT US
Lacey Parks and Recreation Department serves the community by providing health, inspiration and
recreation opportunities through quality programming, facilities and community
events. In addition, the department furthers the preservation and enhancement
of the environment through planned parks, open spaces and natural habitat areas at twenty-six locations. The department also manages the Regional Athletic Complex, the Lacey Community Center, the Lacey Museum, and
the Jacob Smith House.
We offer a full spectrum of recreation services and activities for youth, teens and adults, including aquatics, sports, cultural, fitness,
outdoor, teen and youth programs, day camps and special park events. Community events include the Polar Bear Plunge, Ethnic Celebration, Lacey Loves to Read, Children's Day, Lacey Family Fish In, Lacey S.T.E.M. Fair, Lacey In Tune summer concert & movies in the park, 3rd of July Fireworks & Freedom Concert and numerous holiday activities for year-round enjoyment for residents and visitors alike.
