 PUBLIC SAFETY POSITIONS:

 

 

  • Police Officer - Lateral - Applicants must have one (1) year of continuous law enforcement experience with a law enforcement agency as a full-time Police Officer and/or Detective within the last twelve (12) months to meet the minimum qualifications for this position.

  2. Then select "Apply." 
    If this is the first time you are applying for a position using our online job application, you will need to create an account and select a Username and Password to Login.  If you already have an account through NeoGov or GovernmentJobs.com, enter your Username and Password to Login. 
  3. After you Login, select the "Build Job Application" link to create a new application.  This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening.
  4. Be sure to follow the steps to complete all necessary sections of the application prior to submission for consideration. You will receive a notification confirming that your application was received.
  5. After the closing date, all applications are reviewed.  Candidates will then be notified as to the next step(s) in the process which may include one or more of the following: application review and evaluation, written test, skills test, physical ability test, and/or oral interview.
