The City of Lacey recruits through a variety of means depending on the position. All open recruitments are listed online in the
Current Job Openings section (below), and are physically posted in the Human Resources Department at Lacey City Hall. The postings provide instructions on how to apply for that specific job.
Once applications are received, evaluated, and ranked, the top candidates are invited to participate in a selection process. These processes range from standard interviews in front of a panel to an assessment center format, which is a multi-exercise selection process that includes testing, interview panels, and interactive activities.
