CODE ENFORCEMENT
The Code Enforcement Division performs general City code enforcement with the purpose of preserving community standards and for the protection of community health, welfare and quality of life. City codes and standards applying to housing, structures, property maintenance and zoning and land use are enforced in a responsible, courteous and impartial manner. The Code Enforcement Office also administers the
City's Residential Building Rental Registration Program.
Enforcement action is typically complaint-initiated. When a complaint is received, the enforcing officer investigates the validity of the complaint and undertakes the necessary actions until all issues are resolved.

- Problems or concerns regarding public right-of-way, such as street or sidewalk obstructions, missing signs, and potholes, should be referred to the City of Lacey Public Works Operations Division at (360) 491-5644, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- To report vehicles parked illegally within the right-of-way, or to report suspected criminal activity or activity which disturbs the public peace, contact the City of Lacey Police Department at (360) 459-4333, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
